Valentine's Day special - Craft on Canvas/Upcycled spoiled art project ;)

Well I am not a good painter , but still love playing with the colour. Few project turn out well and few are disastrous. I usually go way too far that i can no more improvise the painting. that wat happened with the painting I am going to post about today.I could not tolerate to see the painting lying in my cupboard, so decided to upcycle it.  Here is what i did.

Painted the canvas with black paint.

Covered the Canvas with patterned Paper  and Decorated it. Here's how it looks now.

Valentine's Day - Decorated Jar

Here is one more idea of a gift for your special someone. Its very simple, but its inside the jar that is most important. All you need is an empty jar, few embellishments and you are good to go.
You can fill up the jar by writing about all the things that you love about your beloved, I am sure the smile on his face will tell you how much he loved it.
Its a budget gift with a very special touch. He will surely love it.

Altered Oil Bottle

Here is one more oil bottle that I painted few days back. I have stuck few embellishments to make it look different from the previous bottle that i have made. I hope you like it.

Handmade upcycled/recycled Magazine Holders

Made two magazine holders from cereal boxes.Wrapped them up with newspaper. To make it look pretty I decorated it with a flower made out of used plastic bag and a tag made from cookie box. Here is how it looks.

Recycled/ upcycled / Altered Glass Bottles

I had few used olive oil glass bottles at home. So thought of trying my hands at painting them with my acrylic paints. Painting on bottle is much different then on canvas. Had to give them multiple coatings to give a finished look. Here is how it looks.

My upcycled earrings stand

While preparing the carton organizers I came up with an idea of preparing a earrings stand. Here is what i used to prepare it

• One Cardboard
• One vegetable net packet
• Glue

My upcycled lil Carton Organizers/Chest

I badly needed to organize my  craft stuff and so came up with this idea of creating my own craft material organizer/chest :). It is an 100% recycled/ upcycled project...well excluding the glue i used to put it together.

I used following stuff to make it:

1. 4 Mango boxes
2. 1 museli box
3. old Newspapers
4. glue

Yuppy! now all my small crafting materials have a home :)
